Join us in person for an exciting event all about bringing printing to the streets!
Dive into the world of letterpress printing, see cool demos, and get hands-on with tools that empower community voices, all while imagining futures with your neighbors.
Drop in anytime between 12pm-4pm for a live workshop where you'll learn to set type, apply ink, and pull your own prints. You will leave with your own unique posters, an understanding of traditional printmaking techniques, and a vision for a better world.
This event is suitable for ages 7 and up. Kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. We will set up at the corner of Woodbine St. and Woodward Ave, inside the park.
Whether you're a creator, an activist, or just curious, this is your chance to explore how print--and the people--can spark change. You are an artist, and your voice matters.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Sunday May 10th from 12pm-4pm.
This program is made possible (in part) with public funds from the Queens Arts Fund, a re-grant program supported by New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by New York Foundation for the Arts.
